Bob was previously a vice president with William M. Mercer, Inc., the worlds largest employee benefits, compensation and human resource consulting firm. At Mercer, he specialized in areas related to life transitions such as responding effectively to a corporate merger or restructuring, early retirement planning, reinvigorating a career at midlife and changing careers.
Prior to joining Mercer, Bob worked for 20 years as a human resource executive, first for Bankers Trust Company and later for Marsh & McLennan Companies.
Bob is a graduate of Villanova and Georgetown Universities. He is a member of the American Society for Training & Development, the Society for Human Resource Management and the Project Management Institute. He writes frequently about management topics, most recently in the areas of problem solving, risk taking and decision-making.
